Although we could write several books about surfing in Costa Rica and why it is one of the world's top five surf destinations, we will assume that if you are looking into traveling here, you have already read that book... you know...

Costa Rica is called "the Hawaii of Latin-American surfing" because there are thousands of beach breaks and lots of reef brakes that can get waves of up to twenty feet. Rivers galore offer tons of river mouth breaks, especially on the Pacific. On the Caribbean side.

You can also find some of the best surfing in the Jaco beach area, there is more than fifty breaks in les than a half hour drive, also you can find excellent activities in the area like the Vista Los Suenos canopy tour with some of the longest cables in the are up to seven hundred meters long!!!
